About this app
HexFold is a turn-based skirmish game on a procedurally generated hex board. Move your character across the tiles; come within range of an opponent and combat triggers, resolved as a hand of Texas Hold'em. Eleven playable characters each bring a signature powerup card that bends the hand in their own way — swapping cards, forcing discards, or rewriting the showdown.
Play single-player against the AI, or sit back and watch two AI opponents fight it out. The board's terrain is assigned to shared lattice edges, so tiles always match at their seams without any post-generation patching. The game includes accounts, a credits balance, and a store for unlocking powerups and characters. The build carries 2,839 passing assertions and a balance simulator that plays 172 AI matches to check win rates.
